RESEARCH INTERESTS:

I focus on the basic theory of deep rock failure mechanics and control technology of roadway, the multi-scale (macro/meso/micro) failure mechanism of rock under thermo- and hydro-mechanical coupled effects, nonlinear failure constitutive model of rock, discontinuous deformation analysis of rocklike materials, poromechanics for rocklike materials, nonlocal continuum field theories of rock strata movement, etc. I have theoretically proved the Hoek-Brown empirical criterion from 2D to 3D.
